Home Boarding

This service is for dogs who prefer to be in a home rather than Boarding Kennels. The dog (s) will stay in my Home in Kettins and as well as being boarded will receive two country walks per day.

I have a fully enclosed secure grassed back garden. This ensures that when not being exercised, and the weather is dry, your Dog can still get the benefit of being outside and the stimulation this gives.

To comply with boarding legislation owners should supply the bedding for their dog, this also helps settle them due to familiar smells.

I ask that owners do supply their own dog food as this ensures the dog has no interruption in their diet.

As this service is conducted in my own Home I can only take dogs from one household, or dogs which are familiar with each other and have boarded together in the past.

If this service is for you and your dog, I would require to have a brief meeting with you to discuss the stay before the boarding dates, this is to ensure that all preparations are taken care of to ensure the dog has a happy and stimulating stay while boarding.

Unfortunately as it is my home I cannot take dogs for boarding who appear to be unfriendly, destructive, not house trained, or aggressive. If these traits are experience during the stay I will need to remove the dog and place in Kennels to await your return. Unfortunately I can’t accept bitches who are in season due to the risk of unwanted pregnancy and the potential follow on problems associated with this.
